About Us

Volunteering in classrooms exposed me to the sad reality of teachers spending their own money on supplies for their classrooms. It's a sad reality because teachers are not reimbursed and most of the students that they serve cannot afford to bring their supplies. I decided to combine my love of coffee with my passion of supporting teachers and launched Black and Some Coffee Company. I want to do my part to ensure classrooms have adequate supplies to enable learning and break the cycle of generational poverty.
